I bet my friends that I will be the first of us to speak at the Republican National Convention. The losers have to share a 3 minute video dressed as Lady Liberty saying how the winner is the greatest individual of our generation.
This is the sort of feature I'm building into Live to Challenge
where you can challenge other challengers to a duel and set the stakes for the loser(s).
11pm - 12am: Snapchat Research
After downloading the app, playing with it, and researching how to use it I got more and more excited about its potential. I think this will be a game changer for the blog. It will give you an even better glimpse into the life and times of Anthony Galli, a living legend.
12am - 2am: Talked God & Glory
I started chatting with my pool partner from yesterday, Todd. He said he used to make $3,000 a week pimping hoes. He gave it all up for God.
He finished law school and is now working for a country law firm. He said a woman came in today where undercover cops tricked her into selling crack and then hit her with a 16 year prison sentence. He recognized that if he stayed in the game that could have been him.
We got into a debate about "objectivism" vs. "relativism". He claims he knows God is 100% real. "He is truth." I admire religious people's sense of certainty because in any debate it is the person who is most certain that usually wins, hence Trump. But with that said certainty can be dangerous because over time you lose your curiosity and desire to listen to opposing viewpoints because you "know you're right" so why bother. Overall I enjoyed our conversation because we both remained open-minded about 99% of things.
