A cold sweat ran down my cheek. I realized that Facebook signups were not going through at Live to Challenge
. I fixed it, so if you tried signing up in the past please try again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
5:30pm - 7:30pm: Shopped at Walgreens
For the love of god the woman in the photo took 20 minutes to make her purchases as the line wrapped around the store. She gave no fucks about the inconvenience she was causing other people by taking her sweet ass time. She was a bit older. Lord knows my Grandma is no Ichiro, but there comes a point where someone has to yell, "Move it along, lady!"
5:30pm - 7pm: Ate at Mother's
8pm - 12am: Socialized on the Patio, India House Hostel
I refused to drink. I drank too much the night before. Everyone else drank and I got into another heated, but pleasant conversation about politics. It was me vs. the Danish, Aussies, and two Americans. By the end of it one of the liberal Americans half jokingly said that I converted him.
Ultimately my point was that the world is a better place because Europe and America exists. This is because there are tradeoffs to any political or economic system. We shouldn't go all in on equality, which is Europe's focus. And we shouldn't go all in on growth, which is America's focus.
I relate it to stocks. You wouldn't put all your money in one stock. You'd diversify. We shouldn't put all our money in the same form of democracy and capitalism. There should be variations so that if something goes wrong it doesn't go wrong everywhere.
12:30am - 4:00am: Did Work in Lounge then Dining Room, India House Hostel
If I feel unmotivated I remind myself - everyday I postpone my dream is another day millions of people postpone their's. I need to work harder to get the future I want sooner. What thoughts or visuals inspire you?
