I was watching I Love Lucy.
The episode where Lucy wants to be a Hollywood star, gets a lucky break, but then ends up self-sabotaging herself because she wants to be a house wife after all.
The moral of the story is to be appreciative of what you got.
While watching the show, I googled the actors and actresses.
They're all dead now, which is weird because they are right in front of my eyes (granted in black & white), but alive and well.
And although it's a T.V. show their were scenes of them arguing over what to eat for dinner or stressing over catching the train, just as we would today.
And I'm sure just like our minds tricks us, their minds tricked them into believing they had all the time in the world to be alive.
But then one day it comes to an end. The curtain comes down.
And the curtain comes down sooner than we think.
I think one of the greatest life hacks is remembering we will die soon, very very soon.
