Yesterday was a special edition post. This is where the post begins with a specific topic like, 12 Tips for Regaining Momentum.

I'll periodically write these if I feel like my daily log is lacking or if I'm feeling inspired by a particular topic.

While coding I listened to this podcast Ryan Holiday on Overcoming Your Ego. Three truths he lives by:

  • You don't control what happens to you, you control how you respond.

  • You can't learn that which you think you already know.

  • People lack the courage to change, especially as they get older in life.

6pm - 7pm: Read

I haven't been reading enough books since I started this journey. That ends today! I started reading a book called Grey. To my defense I thought it was a fiction book about a rich guy's climb to power. It turns out to be like a 50 Shades of Grey type of story (I didn't get the comparison until after the fact).

I'm all into the innocent school girl stuff, but the male character is not believable. No real person could contain so many conflicting personality traits without suffering from "multiple-personality" disorder, but I guess that's what the ladies like. I shall continue reading to see if the character starts to makes sense.

7pm: Ran 5.2 Miles Around the Park

8pm - 3:30am: Showered, Ate 2 Salads, Watched a Movie & SNL

Not a huge fan of Saturday Night Live, but here are the clips that cracked me up: Ghost Chasers, Close Encounter, Bad News Bears (Russell Crowe).

3:30am: Sleep
